Even from the industrial revolution era, we can trace so many conflicts occurred between the labors and the employers. This is even highlighted by Karl Marx with his Marxism who divided people in two social classes. Well, such gap should not happen for we can still maintain a good relationship between the employees and the employers. What we should be aware is just about the rights and the duties of each side. Fortunately, we have labor laws.
Labor laws are a set of law that regulate about the rights and the restrictions on the labors. It also rules about the relationship between the employers and their employees. Therefore, these laws are a guideline for both of them to treat each other. The examples of aspects included in the laws are the working hour restrictions, the child labor, the labor’s health and safety, and also the anti-discrimination. The violence against these laws can be heavily punished.
If we take a look further, there are many treatments of the employers towards the employees which violets the labor laws. This can happen because of the labors’ lack of knowledge about labor laws. For you who want to consult about that, you can find so many employment lawyers in your state.
